    Computer Technology curriculum and courses

You can pursue your computer technology bachelor's degree on either a full-time or part-time basis. Since many of our students transfer from various community colleges, it's challenging to create a one-size-fits-all semester-by-semester plan. We recommend working with Engineering Technology Division's academic advisor to help tailor a personalized plan of study. Most students complete the program within two to three years.

Get a head start on your M.S. degree with AGRADE (4+1)

The Accelerated Graduate Enrollment (AGRADE) program allows you begin working towards your master’s degree while completing your bachelor’s. After earning at least 90 undergraduate credits, you work with both your undergraduate and graduate advisors to create a plan that allows 16 credits to count toward both your B.S. and M.S. degrees at Wayne State.

By participating in AGRADE, you can save both time and money — completing the coursework at undergraduate tuition rates and potentially finishing your master’s degree up to two semesters early.

    Real-World Experience

In addition to our strong curriculum, you'll gain valuable practical experience and networking opportunities unique to Wayne State University. You'll have access to modern instructional and research labs, equipped with approximately 300 state-of-the-art workstations and servers.
