    Computer Science

As of fall 2024, the college enrolled 139 international undergraduate students and 333 international graduate students from 36 countries -- all of whom can seek educational, cultural and social support and assistance from the university's Office of International Students and Scholars as well as language assistance from the English Language Institute, the only intensive English language program in the metropolitan Detroit area.

All international applicants are required to submit a qualifying TOEFL or IELTS score and a WES Evaluation.

    3+2 program

Through the college's 3+2 program, international students can earn both a bachelor's degree from their home institution and a master's degree from Wayne State University in just five years. Students spend three years studying at their home institution and then complete a Master of Science in Engineering during their fourth and fifth years at Wayne State.

I chose Wayne State because of its research capability and friendly environment. Being welcomed as an international student at WSU is something that makes me feel good about my choice.
