E. Peter Washabaugh
Assistant Professor, Biomedical Engineering
Biography
E. Peter Washabaugh received his Ph.D. at the University of Michigan, where he studied rehabilitation technologies for retraining movement following neuromuscular injuries. His research interests include designing and testing of robotic devices for therapy. Specifically, he is creating low-cost technologies using controllable passive actuators for functional resistance training of the upper- and lower-extremities, and then testing the biomechanical and neurophysiological effects of these trainings.
